Mrs. Folk's Weekly Message-February 14, 2020

Submitted to All Campuses on Friday, February 14, 2020

Dear Holy Cross Academy Families,

We always have a busy week at our campus. Tuesday was our Preschool Grandparents Day and Mass. They decorated picture frames for the pictures they took together, read books, and created new memories together. Also on Tuesday, the 2nd grade parents gathered together for their first meeting to prepare their child’s 1st Holy Communion. The children had a great time at the Valentine’s Parties exchanging their cards. If any child was out due to illness, they can bring their Valentine’s next Tuesday to exchange with their classmates. Thank you to the parents who helped with the parties. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Our campus has had many children out sick this week. I hope the long weekend will make everyone well. Please take care.

Next week on Wednesday, February 19th the First Grade will be going to St. Louis University for the BTC Olympics. They will enjoy fun activities and watch the Lady Billikens Basketball game. Also it is HCA night at Papa Johns on Wednesday. Give yourself a break from cooking and order some pizzas for the family.

The Guller children will be Holy Cross Academy - St. Michael’s campus principals for the day on Thursday, February 20th. I wonder what big decisions they will make for our campus? I hope they chose a dress down day or extra recess. On Friday, February 21st the teachers will lead the Mass. Please join us if you can.

Monday, February 17th is Presidents’ Day. There will be no school in observance of the holiday.

Online registration using the FACTS system for the 2020-21 school year is available through the HCA website www.hca-stl.org.

Have a great holiday weekend!!!

God Bless!

Mrs. Karen Folk
