Mrs. Koberlein's Weekly Message-November 1, 2019

Submitted to All Campuses on Friday, November 01, 2019

Dear HCA-OLP Families,

Greetings on the Feast of All Saints! This day is a reminder that we are all a part of the Communion of Saints, all joined together in the Body of Christ. This is especially called to mind today, but we are celebrating that all year with our religious theme for the year at HCA - Many Parts, One Body. We are all joined together as one community in Holy Cross Academy at all of our different campuses just as we are all joined together in one community of Christians around the world. Let us always remember to support one another and be signs of God’s love to others in our community.

Have a great weekend, and please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

In God’s Peace,

Mrs. Katie Koberlein

Principal, Our Lady of Providence Campus

Book Fair

The OLP book fair is this week. See This Flyer for the details.

Cold-Weather Uniform

Just a reminder that our cold-weather uniform started today. Girls may wear their jumpers or navy uniform pants, and boys should wear navy uniform pants. On gym days, the uniform calls for navy athletic pants for both boys and girls.

Leftover Halloween Candy Collection

Did the cold weather stop the trick or treaters from visiting your house? You can send in leftover unwanted Halloween candy to the school office. Donations will go to Haiti, Ronald McDonald House, and intercity children who can't go house to house. Donations are due by Wednesday, Nov. 6.

26 Things Parents Need to Know About Social Media

St. Simon School will be hosting a speaker on the topic of social media on Nov. 7, and HCA parents are welcome to attend. RSVP is required. Please see this flyer for more information.

Parent Teacher Conferences

HCA Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, November 7. Appointments will be scheduled for the preschool and elementary campuses between 8:00am and 7:00pm and at the middle school campus between 8:00am and 12:00pm. Middle-school teachers are also available for walk-in conferences the evening of Wednesday, November 6 from 4:00-7:00pm in the Annunciation gymnasium.

We are using PTCFast.com to make Parent Teacher Conference sign ups as convenient as possible this year. Please enter the following web address into your browser window: https://ptcfast.com/schools/Holy_Cross_Academy_1 As a reminder, there is no school on Thursday, Nov. 7 and Friday, Nov. 8
