Eighth Grade Archdiocesan Right Start Program: The eighth grade students will participate in the Right Start program this year. Right Start is sponsored by the Archdiocese and is intended for all 8th grade students in Catholic schools. This program is based on a five-lesson respect life curriculum where volunteer teachers present information on fetal development, abortion, chastity, and the sanctity of each life created by God. The curriculum is multi-modal, utilizing lectures, reading, activities, discussions, videos, and music. In addition, students and teachers receive supplemental materials to reinforce the lessons the educators present in class. For the complete program and helpful parent information visit www.rightstart.archstl.org

Leaders for the Right Start program will host an informational parent meeting for our region on September 24, 6:30 pm at Queen of all Saints Parish.

All-Academy Mass and Retreat Half-Day at Seven Holy Founders

On Friday, September 13th, K-8 students will participate in the All Academy Mass and retreat in celebration of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. Parents are welcome to join us for mass at 9:00. All K-8 students will be dropped off and picked up from the Seven Holy Founders campus. Students should wear their white HCA logo polo shirts. Backpacks are not needed for the day, but students who are staying for aftercare should bring a lunch.

Drop off at the SHF campus will be between 7:00 - 7:50. At pick up, parents will need to come into the building and sign out their child from their homeroom teacher. ANN students will be picked up in the Gymnasium. Due to the large number of students, you can pick up your student any time between 11:45 and 12:15.

Students must be registered ahead of time for the After School Program. If you have any questions contact jbanks@hca-stl.org
