You can let these other adults access all targets or just ones which you specify. When you or your child logs in, you will see what the others have reported for him. There is no limit to the number of adult accounts you can add.
• You child can login and view how close he is to earning a reward. You can also optionally let your child report meeting some targets and even redeem some rewards, such as TV or gaming time. This gives your child a feeling of being in charge.
• For timed rewards, the program will automatically track the time used. You (or your child) checks in when the reward time is starting and then checks out when it is complete. The program calculates the amount of time used (allowing a few extra minutes for check in and check out) and automatically subtracts the appropriate amount of points from the child's account. This holds children accountable for the amount of time they actually use.

How Does It Work?

First, determine which behaviors you want to encourage. These should be very specific - make your bed, clean your room, do your homework, etc. Enter each of these targets along with the number of points the child is given when the target is met into A2Z Behavior Booster. Smaller targets might only be worth one or two points. More difficult or time consuming targets can be worth more. You can make these targets available to all of the children in your family or just one.

Then talk to your children about what type of rewards they would like. These should also be very specific - go out for ice cream, have a friend over for a slumber party, purchase a new game, etc. You assign a point value to each reward. Larger rewards will cost more points and smaller rewards less. These can also be for all of your children or just some of them.

Each time the child meets one or more of the targets, you (or the child, if you have enabled this feature) login and record which targets have been met. You can also create additional accounts in A2Z Behavior Booster so teachers and other adults can login and report when the child meets a target. Each time a target is met, the point value which you have assigned to the target is credited to the child.

When the child has enough points for the desired reward, he lets you know. You "redeem" the reward in A2Z Behavior Booster and the appropriate number of points are subtracted from the child's account. Depending on the child and the reward, you might choose to let the child redeem the reward himself. This works well for things like TV and gaming time.

You can also choose to have penalties for inappropriate behavior. For these behaviors, points are removed from the child. Of course, this feature must be used judiciously. In general, the idea of this program is to help parents provide encouragement to children for good behavior.
