How to filter words in the Word List Editor

You can use the Use my words only check box and categories to limit which words are displayed in the word list editor. This tutorial assumes you are already in the Word List Editor. To enter the Word List Editor, click on the Edit Word List button near the top of the window.

1. To show only words you have entered, check the Use my words only box. In this example, the current user is Janice. After checking the box, only words which have been entered by Janice are shown. To the left of the Use my words only box, you can see that this filtered list contains only 16 word. View Video
2. To return to viewing words entered by all users and words which do not belong to any user, uncheck the Use my words only box. View Video
3. To filter by category, select a category from the drop down list. In this example, the people category is selected. Now only words in the category people are listed. View Video
4. You can use the Use my words only option with the category filter. In this example, Janice chooses to list her words in the people category. Since she hasn't entered any words in this category, this list is now empty and shows 0 words. View Video
5. Now Janice chooses the Valentine category instead. Since she has entered words in this category, the list is populated again. View Video
