Curcuminoids are the bioactive compounds found in the culinary spice turmeric (Curcuma longa). C3 Curcumin Complex contains three bioactive, health-promoting curcuminoids: curcumin, bisdemethoxycurcumin and demethoxycurcumin – the most extensively researched constituents of the turmeric root. Sunflower lecithin is added to improve absorption, and the capsule is vegan.

Curcumin has been shown to inhibit NF-κB, a regulator of inflammation, in studies on cultured cells.1-3 Research suggests that curcumin has antioxidant effects, helps maintain a healthy inflammatory response, and promotes cardiovascular and joint health.4-7

Curcumin is known to have poor bioavailability. This formulation of C3 Curcumin Complex includes sunflower lecithin to improve absorption, allowing the supplement to provide more of these beneficial compounds than foods seasoned with turmeric alone.

Dose: 1 softgel per day with a meal, or as directed by a physician.
